Dr. James Lineback has practiced medicine in southern California since 1984, and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with complex disorders of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, including coronary artery disease and asthma, in addition to general medicine issues such as diabetes, hypertension, and gastrointestinal disorders.  He is board certified in internal, pulmonary, and anti-aging medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American College of Anti-Aging Medicine.

Dr. Lineback is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles and lectures in topics in physiology, pathophysiology, and the mechanisms of disease including asthma, pulmonary embolism, and acute respiratory failure.  He is also frequently called upon as a consultant in medical malpractice and personal injury cases, most specifically in the areas of wrongful death, pulmonary embolism, chest trauma, respiratory failure, toxic fume and smoke inhalation, upper airway obstruction, stroke, pneumothorax, pneumonia, post-operative surgical complications, anaphylaxis, shock, asthma, hypertension, and life expectancy.
